Availability & Booking


There are two ways to book your stay at East Lodge:

Firstly, you can do it through our listing on the Visit Scotland website (this takes you to an external page – we will receive a message telling us that you've booked, but we will still need to contact you to confirm the reservation and provide payment information).

Alternatively, if you would prefer to contact us directly please check the calendar below for available dates and then get in touch in one of the following ways:

  • By telephone: contact Ian on 07891 291197, or leave a message on our landline (01309 358612) and he will call you back at his earliest opportunity. If your enquiry is urgent and you’ve had no response from either of these numbers please try Bea on 07903 527930; or

We will then send you a booking form with full terms and conditions. To secure your booking please return your completed form within seven days, along with your non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost. The balance will be payable 14 days prior to the start of your stay. However, please note that if your reservation is made within eight weeks of the start of your stay full payment will be required at the time of booking.

NB: we may require you to pay a refundable security bond at the time of booking. This will be returned to you after your departure providing that there are no breakages, damage, missing items etc., and that no additional cleaning is necessary. Full details are included on our security bond form which will be sent with your booking form.

Please note that we take your privacy very seriously. We do not pass on to third parties the details we collect from you in connection with bookings or booking enquiries. Please click here  to see our full privacy policy.

We strongly advise you to take out appropriate insurance cover in case unforeseen events mean that you have to cancel your trip. 

The minimum booking period is three nights. For full booking details please refer to our separate terms and conditions document. A large-print version is available on request.

Please note that due to the additional work required by our enhanced cleaning protocols, on the day of departure guests are required to check out no later than 9.00 am.

Please also note that changeover day for full week bookings is usually a Friday, although we are happy to be flexible about this where possible. Also, if the dates you are interested in booking are showing as a provisional reservation (yellow highlight on the calendar) it's worth contacting us for confirmation of availability.
